Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Mickey Cox Elementary! We hope our website serves as a helpful and convenient resource for families, providing important information about our school, programs, activities, and the many opportunities available to our students.

It continues to be an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Mickey Cox Elementary, a school and community that hold a very special place in my heart. Together, we remain committed to creating a positive and supportive school environment where every student is encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.

Our motto, “Work hard, play fair, and take care of each other,” continues to guide everything we do. We are committed to providing our students with a strong academic foundation while offering a wide variety of co-curricular, leadership, athletic, and enrichment opportunities that support the development of the whole child. Through our Sparthenian values and commitment to high standards, we strive to challenge students academically while helping them develop the character, confidence, and skills needed for future success.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I look forward to continuing to build upon the traditions and successes that make Mickey Cox such a special place. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful for the continued partnership of our families and community.
